10 Best Rhinoplasty Surgeons in Los Angeles

The nose is such a beautiful facial feature of the human face. During the 16th century, the procedure of rhinoplasty or nose job was performed to treat patients with nasal defects and ill-functioning of the nose due to certain diseases. With time, the trend of rhinoplasty gained popularity and people started getting their nose job done to improve their appearances. In America, rhinoplasty is one of the most common facial plastic surgeries performed. According to the reports of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 220,000 people opt for rhinoplasty every year. In this article, we have concluded the list of some of the best rhinoplasty surgeons based in Los Angeles. Let’s read further to know the details. Best Rhinoplasty Surgeons in Los Angeles

Dr. Deepak Dugar

Dr. Deepak Dugar

I will remember that there is an art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon’s knife or the chemist’s drug. I will not be ashamed to say “I know not,” nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient’s recovery. Above is an excerpt from a modified version of the Hippocratic Oath – a promise all doctors take when starting their journey into their career in medicine. The key is living this truth in your daily practice which we strive to do to the best of our abilities here at the Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty Center. We routinely turn down patients who don’t qualify for Scarless Nose™️ surgery or genuinely don’t need surgery. I commonly say ”some patients need a procedure and some just need to talk. Knowing the difference is my biggest skill set.”

Dr. Deepak Dugar is a world-famous celebrity rhinoplasty surgeon whose entire surgical practise is dedicated to “Scarless Nose” surgery. People from different countries travel to his surgical center in Los Angeles to get themselves treated with the “Discrete Scarless Nose™ Technique” of Dr. Deepak Dugar. His excellent academic record, artistic skills, and great experience have made him one of the best rhinoplasty specialists in America.

Specialization

Dr. Deepak Dugar is the only board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon in America whose entire surgical experiences and practices are dedicated to the “Scarless Nose” method which is performed with closed rhinoplasty surgery to satisfy his patients in the best possible way. He is on the advisory board for the medical device and technology companies to make the availability of the latest technologies to his patients. His entire research work is published nationally and internationally in several journals and he has been a regular guest at several events and meetings to share his expert opinions and skills with people. At his clinic in Los Angeles, he along with his expert team performs the two main types of scarless nose rhinoplasties, closed scarless rhinoplasty and scarless functional rhinoplasty. He believes in making customized plans for his patients according to their needs and requirements. Many international celebrities like Mia Khalifa, Daniella Monet, Madi Monroe, Simmi Singh, etc. are his regular patients.

The five things I hate about rhinoplasty are unnecessary external cuts and scars, pinched nasal tip, Ski Slope profile, Miss Piggy nose, and worsened and unimproved breathing. These five things are constantly in my mind during every consultation and every surgery. This is where being the only surgeon in the USA whose entire surgical practice is dedicated to Scarless Rhinoplasty allows a superior advantage of finding the perfect delicate balance of meaningful refinement to a nose without drastic uncomfortable change. Natural noses are mandatory in my practice.”

Dr. Michael Omidi

Dr. Michael Omidi-Facelift-Doctor

The decision to undergo plastic surgery is particularly unique in the field of medical services in that it is very intimate and personal. Similarly, when selecting a plastic surgeon, the decision has to be based not only on competence and experience but also on personal rapport and sharing of similar values. To ensure the best possible outcome, the patient and doctor should be a match. To grant you a clearer idea of whether I’m the right physician for you, I’d like to share my thoughts on the core values guiding our practice. I hope these principles will prove to be useful to you in the process of selecting your surgeon. First and foremost, since plastic (or cosmetic) surgery is entirely elective, safety in performing any procedures is of utmost importance. My stance in making a surgical plan is to be a capable and trustworthy physician first and foremost. In other words, I take your health and safety into consideration before anything else. This conviction inspires everything I do, from consultation to selecting the type of procedures available to post-surgical care. I take a very conservative stance when performing surgery and do not hesitate to deny a procedure that is not in the patient’s best interests. In the same vein, I am honest and forthright in suggesting non-surgical therapy such as weight loss treatment as opposed to a facelift or liposuction whenever possible. Honesty is central to building a rapport between doctors and their patients. I realize that no surgeon can be an expert in every field. Thus, if I feel that another doctor can perform an operation more safely or the procedure is outside of my field of expertise, I will help you find the right doctor. When we meet for a consultation, I will not hurry you or send in a consultant or care coordinator to do the consultation. I set aside ample time so we can meet each other, and I can listen to you and offer my suggestions on the optimal treatment methods. I keep up to date with the latest and most innovative techniques such as fat transfer to the breasts, PRP treatments, and various laser and non-surgical therapies. Last but not least, when it comes to selecting a treatment plan, my philosophy is that less is more. After a procedure, a patient should acquire exquisite and natural beauty. A facelift should not look stretched. Breasts should be beautiful and compliment the body. Ultimately, I believe that plastic surgery calls for delicate artistry in which even the smallest of details make a tremendous difference. For instance, in the course of eyelid surgery, I remove slightly less skin from the upper eyelids knowing that complete elimination of fold over the crease would appear unnatural. In the end, being a plastic surgeon requires the expertise of a skilled physician coupled with a keen eye of an artist. This conviction continues to guide me through every aspect of my practice as I strive to deliver the best results to my patients.”

Dr. Michael Omidi is one of the top plastic and reconstructive surgeons based in Los Angeles. Due to double-board certification and years of experience of Dr. Michael Omidi, several patients travel to get themselves treated by him at his clinics in Beverly Hills and the Greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Omidi’s caring, compassionate, and down-to-earth nature makes him one of the topmost choices of plastic surgeons among the patients.

Specialization

According to Cosmetic Town Journal, Dr. Michael Omidi is named the best Breast Augmentation and Rhinoplasty Doctor. He is a double-board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. With years of experience and hard work, he has done additional training in facial plastic surgery, specifically of the nose, and is a verified rhinoplasty specialist. He has more than 17 years of experience in performing rhinoplasty surgeries. He believes in providing the most reliable and realistic results to his patients in the best and safest possible manner.

Compared to other procedures, every rhinoplasty is precise and unique; not every nose looks right on every face. More importantly, correcting a prior rhinoplasty that produced poor results is much more difficult than performing the surgery for the first time.”

According to Cosmetic Town Journal, he is named one of the 10 Best Rhinoplasty Surgeons. His patients and peers have repeatedly rated him the top plastic surgeon on several reputed review sites and he has been ranked #1 plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills out of 246 by RateMDs for three consecutive years.

Dr. Robert Kotler

Dr. Robert Kotler

Many plastic surgeons do rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills, but what makes us different is our constant success in giving our patients their desired result the first time. So many patients come to my office after having two, three, and even four rhinoplasties, and I am their last hope—that’s absolutely unacceptable! With my extensive training and expertise, I am able to achieve my signature “Natural Nose” for all of my patients. I never promise something I can’t achieve, and that’s why it is extremely important for us to have a computer imaging specialist in our office as a communication tool between the patient and myself. Having an understanding of the patient’s needs and desires is one of the most important factors in achieving a successful outcome. A cosmetic procedure is a big investment for our patients in time, money, and mental health, and we understand that. That’s why I make sure I do your procedure right the first time. I make sure that our patients leave our office with the happiness and confidence that they chose the right doctor.”

Dr. Robert Kotler is a superspecialist facial cosmetic surgeon who performs thousands of cosmetic surgeries every year. According to his patients’ reviews, he has been named as one of the top facial plastic surgeons in Los Angeles. He believes in providing the best natural-looking results to his patients according to their requirements. He also served as a reserve Army Medical Officer for seven years and later on, called to active duty and was promoted to Major and assigned to be Chief, ENT/Head and Neck Department, US Army Hospital, Fort Belvoir. Apart from all this, he has published several medical textbooks, publications, and authored medical books like Secrets of A Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgeon, Chemical Rejuvenation of the Skin, and The Essential Cosmetic Surgery Companion.

Dr. Kotler’s Personal Rhinoplasty Story

I had broken my nose playing soccer in high school, and so it had a bump and was a little crooked. There was a minor breathing problem. The tip was a bit bulbous. I could not have a rhinoplasty done for the usual reasons, time, and money. I had a long education, you know, college, medical school, internship, four-year residency, two years military active duty, one-year fellowship. Finally, when I was a “free man”, I could have it done. Many might tell you mine was an acceptable nose, but acceptable is a term that often pertains to others and not to the owner. You cannot put the decision out to a vote. It is what you want that matters. So, at the age of 38, I decided to have my rhinoplasty.

I traveled to New York City, because I, like you, wanted to “Do it right the first time.” It was performed by my most influential teacher, one of the three world-renowned experts in rhinoplasty I had trained under and studied with, Howard Diamond, MD.

I am proud to strongly endorse rhinoplasty. Nothing better than being a patient to understand the experience and appreciate the benefits. The black and white photographs tell the tale. They also give you an idea of the era in which my rhinoplasty was performed. Check out those sideburns!”

The Experience

In those days, the procedure was commonly done under local anesthesia with sedation, and therefore I remember some of the details. But, no pain. It was an interesting operation because I had some sense, even though I was quite foggy, as to what was going on. I could hear the shaving of the nasal bones to remove the bump and heard the “crack” when the nasal bones were gently positioned into the right place. For a rhinoplasty surgeon, a fascinating experience.

For you non-rhinoplasty surgeons, in case you are wondering about anesthesia, don’t worry. That is not how it’s done today. All of our patients are done under a very light anesthetic rendered totally detached from the operation by the great drug, Propofol, plus the same local anesthetic I had to make it painless, even when you wake up from the anesthetic. Anesthesia is safer than ever with no postoperative nausea and vomiting and results in a very fast recovery.

The next day I felt great. I took advantage of the postoperative rest period to go to the operating room and visit my surgeon. One day a patient, the next day, back to the same OR as a student. It was a great learning experience being a patient because I now better understood what patients might encounter and endure after surgery.

The pain was so minimal. I never took a pain pill, but certainly one was available should I have needed it. I was anxious to see whether or not a “big pain” would arrive, and therefore held off on any pain medicine for 24 hours, and then realized that low and behold, there was not going to be any big pain to arrive. It was a mild ache, but tolerable. I felt good, had good energy, and while my air passages were not very open, I put up with it, as in those days we had no choice. Today, of course, no one has to have any nasal blockage, after nasal surgery because of our invention, The Kotler Nasal Airway. This email is not a plug for that, although I highly recommend it.

Within five days, I looked good. The splint was off. There was some swelling but no bruising. By the sixth day, I was out and about doing just about everything and even attended a play, as I was in New York City. On the ninth day, I went swimming, and on the tenth day, I flew back to Los Angeles. A day later I returned to my practice. I looked a bit swollen, not perfect, but good enough. Within another week or two, there was no evidence of having had the surgery. The closed rhinoplasty’s calling card, no external scar, saved me from having to “explain” a fresh pink incision line. Over the next couple of months, the nose matured, and I was a happy camper.

In life, there are some major decisions. Education: what and where. Marriage decisions. Where to live. But, also some very personal ones, appearance leading the pack. My decision was one of the three best decisions I made. And, that is exactly what I hear from our patients.”

Philanthropy

Dr. Kian Karimi is a great philanthropist as he does the pro-bono charity for the patients of the ‘Venice Family Clinic’ located in Los Angeles, one of the largest free clinics in America. He treats the patients over there for the issues related to otolaryngology and facial plastic surgeries.

According to Dr. Kian, one of his greatest and remarkable achievements is when he did the pro-bono care of a young girl from Haiti with a large disfiguring facial tumor, during the final year of his residency. He did the surgery on this girl to help her to get rid of this problem and today, she is living a cancer-free life with an improved quality of life.

Dr. Rady Rahban

Dr Rady Rahban-Best Facelift Doctor in Los Angeles

Knowledge is power! I spend an unexpected amount of time with each of my patients, making sure they understand every phase of their surgery. The more they know the more they are in control. Nothing is more important than earning the trust of my patients. It is this connection that allows them to undergo surgery with confidence and ease.”

Specialization

At his medical center, he performs several types of rhinoplasty procedures like primary rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, ethnic rhinoplasty, functional rhinoplasty, open rhinoplasty, closed rhinoplasty, and non-surgical rhinoplasty. Dr. Rady Rahban is known to spend a substantial amount of time with his patients before their surgeries to understand their needs and expected results. He is completely opposed to the method of the computer morphing of the patients’ noses as he feels that this method is more suitable for the surgeons rather than the patients. Also, he believes that the photoshopped images are unrealistic as they create false security and the actual results may vary. The primary focus of Dr. Rady Rahban is to create a nose that functions properly, that fits your face, and that looks like you.

Peoples’ approach to plastic surgery has changed considerably in the last five years. With the aid of shows like ‘Extreme Makeover’ and ‘Dr. 90210,’ as well as instant access to the online information that is now available regarding virtually every surgical procedure, more and more people are seeking the assistance of a plastic surgeon. Plastic surgery is no longer exclusively for the rich or for the Hollywood celebrity, but is now also for the average ‘person next door.’ In addition, increasingly, more men are seeking plastic surgeries such as rhinoplasty, liposuction and face lifts. It is much more accepted today, and is no longer associated with some sort of stereotype. The key to an ‘Extreme Makeover’ is to really enhance every aspect of one’s image. This means that in addition to plastic surgery, patients should also focus on things such as losing weight, working on their self image and self confidence (with the help of a therapist, if necessary) and improving their smile with dental work, such as obtaining veneers. Patients may also want to consider Lasik, and may want to enlist the help of an ‘expert’ on makeup, hairstyle and clothing. It is only when you focus on every aspect of your image, both internal and external, that you can truly achieve an ‘Extreme Makeover.”

Dr. Jeffrey Rawnsley

Dr Jeffrey Rawnsley

Aesthetic surgery involves a unique combination of technical expertise and artistry. Through thousands of procedures and more than two decades of experience in facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, I have honed the technical skill and aesthetic judgment necessary to produce superior results. I demand results that appear natural, and never even hint at “looking done.” Such results can only be achieved with extensive pre-operative consultation, thoughtful surgical planning, proven techniques and precise execution. I take great pride in the positive change that patients experience at my practice. My personal satisfaction lies in achieving all the best for my patients.”

Dr. Jeffrey Rawnsley is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who is trained in aesthetic, microsurgery, head, and neck surgeries. He also servers as the clinical associate professor at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. Not only this, but he is also the co-director of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s Fellowship program at UCLA.

As the co-director of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s Fellowship program at UCLA, it is my privilege and responsibility to mentor young facial plastic surgeons as they move into the final stages of an extensive training program that has required years of disciplined work to receive the additional designation of a facial plastic surgeon, beyond what’s required to be a plastic surgeon.

I take tremendous joy in having a hand in shaping the surgical competencies and artistic eye of young surgeons who have chosen the technical and strenuous path of facial plastic surgery. It is a select group, with about 2,700 members as counted by the AAFPRS (a Specialty Society of the AMA). These young surgeons know that they will have the skills and aesthetic sense to perform the most delicate and the most subtle facial procedures. In addition to getting to know and work with the new class of facial plastic surgeons each year, my involvement in the training program also helps me keep in touch with the latest advancements in our field. I’m truly blessed for the opportunities I’ve been given as a mentor all of these years.”

Specialization

Dr. Jeffrey Rawnsley is specialized in performing rhinoplasty, nasal reconstruction, and hair restoration processes. He performs the rhinoplasty with rigorous planning, the latest techniques, and customized plans according to the requirements of his patients to give them the natural look. With his great skills and years of experience, he has created the concept of “Soft Touch Rhinoplasty” that focuses on gently reshaping the nose from the inside. He created this method to give his patients the best natural look. Due to all this, he is considered one of the best facial plastic surgeons based in Los Angeles.
