Although the world is only now beginning to see the true potential of ancient medicine such as Ayurveda, the founder of the Ayushakti Ayurved Health Centre, Dr. Pankaj Naram already knew that it was the only way forward, and studied Ayurveda in 1980. As he discovered more about this discipline, he became fascinated by the concept of herbs and detox procedures for healing that anyone could conduct at their home. During this time, he sought out and met a master, called Babaji, and started learning how to read the pulse, which may sound a bit strange; however, it is a way of diagnosing diseases that were developed in ancient India. Babaji was a disciple of Siddha Veda, an ancient medicine discipline that was created by Amogh Patra in the year 300 B.C., which focuses on lifestyle, dietary habits, detox, herbal medicine, pressure point healing, and cooking to resolve medical issues. One of its students was even a physician of Lord Budhha. In the year 1983, Dr. Naram got married to Dr. Smita, and interestingly, Dr. Smita was studying pharmacy and management but she was also learning about detoxification from the same Babaji. In the year 1986, Babaji passed away at the age of 124, leaving the lineage to his students, and in the same year Dr. Naram began his ayurvedic practice, Dr. Smita joined him shortly afterward, and together they established Ayushakti Ayurved Health Centre in 1987, and since then, over 1 million patients have been treated by this facility. Originally, it was named Dr. Pankaj Naram herbal Remedies but they thought Ayurveda should be the primary focus in the name, therefore, befittingly they changed it in 1994. Just after one year of launching, both Dr. Naram and Dr. Smita were invited among the group of 60 medical experts to an international conference in Italy that was focused on infertility. Following this, they had earned their reputation and Ayurveda, especially Siddha Veda was seen as an important medical discipline globally, and they were getting invited to numerous conferences in countries like Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom regarding treating chronic pain. Their research paper has been published in Europe. They have trained over 500 doctors in Siddha Veda globally, and this led to the opening of many branches of Ayushakti Ayurved Health Centre. They provide treatments for skin disorders, infertility, high blood pressure, obesity, gastrointestinal problems, respiratory issues, chronic pain, and mental health problems. As for their treatment, they use a three-step process. Firstly, they detoxify and remove any blockages in the body to allow proper blood circulation. Following this, they start healing the organs with natural medicine and lifestyle changes. Lastly, they guide the patients to follow a step-by-step routine and dietary habits for lasting effects.

Thapovan Ayurveda

Ashtaang Ayurveda was founded by Dr. Rahul Basaiye in Chembur. Dr. Rahul graduated from MUHS University with a gold medal in Ayurveda. He just didn’t want to be another doctor that is programmed to take a cookie-cutter approach for each patient.
